Students will be taking PSSA Mathematics this week, so our schedule will fluctuate this week.  Mrs. James will be reading "The Last Dog" with students this week.  The focus will be on how the elements of the story interact, narrative techniques, and conventions.

*Research papers are due on Wednesday.

Students will read silently from bell to bell

Career Exploration
Periods 3 & 7

Students will finish interviews, take a career interest inventory, and read articles about various jobs.

April 17 - April 21

Periods 1, 4, 6, 8

Students will be in the computer lab for the duration of the week working on a research paper.

Students will be in the computer lab writing cover letters and resumes.

April 10 - April 13

Ms. James, my student teacher, will begin teaching full-time this week.  Students will be working on short stories about space exploration.  Students will use the stories to work on literacy and grammar skills.

Students will participate in mock job interviews this week.

April 3 - April 7

Students will be taking the PSSA ELA test this week.  Make sure your student eats a good breakfast and gets a full night's sleep.

Students will not have any homework this week.

Students will meet Ms. Anna James this week, my student teacher.  She will be with us until the end of May.
